According to the ancient legend of TANABATA, Orihime (Vega) the weaver star, and Kengyuu (Altair) the herdsman star, fall madly in love, neglecting their duties. As punishment, Orihime's father, the Emperor of the Heavens, separates the two star lovers with a mighty cosmic River (The Milky Way). Only once a year, on the seventh day of the seventh month, the two lovers may reunite, using the moon to bridge the celestial river.
